Het vaststellen van een stof als een SVHC door het Europees Agentschap voor chemische stoffen (ECHA) is de eerste stap in de procedure voor autorisatie of beperking van het gebruik van een chemische stof.<\/p>\n<p>Hoewel deze stoffen met een hoog risico als ongewenst kunnen worden beschouwd vanwege hun gevaarlijke aard, worden ze wel gebruikt (en in het verleden in grote hoeveelheden) vanwege hun vlam vertragende, stabiliserende of andere functionele eigenschappen in kunststoffen, meubels, bouwmaterialen en elektronica.<\/p>\n<p>Op dit moment moeten fabrikanten of leveranciers voldoen aan REACH en SVHC-stoffen in hun producten identificeren en monitoren. Naast het identificeren van mogelijke Zeer Zorgwekkende Stoffen (ZZS), moeten bedrijven controleren of toegepaste stoffen voorkomen op de REACH-lijst van beperkingen (genaamd REACH Bijlage XVII) en\/of de REACH-autorisatielijst (genaamd REACH Annex XIV).<\/p>\n<p>Om te voorkomen dat SVHC-stoffen terechtkomen in speelgoed, landbouwproducten, kleding of voedselverpakkingen gemaakt van gerecycled materiaal, is het belangrijk dat deze chemicali\u00ebn kunnen worden getraceerd van productie tot afval. Op deze manier weten afvalverwerkers en secundaire producenten (recyclers) of een afvalproduct een of meer van deze stoffen bevat en hoe ze veilig uit de afvalstromen kunnen worden gehaald.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69e8907834eaf{font-size:20px;font-weight:600;}<\/style><h2 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69e8907834eaf\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">Verplichtingen van bedrijven<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Als je een EU-artikelleverancier bent en jouw product bevat SVHC &gt; 0,1% w\/w, moet je informatie hierover communiceren langs de toeleveringsketen. In ieder geval moet de naam van de SVHC worden doorgegeven. Als een consument erom vraagt, moet je hen binnen 45 dagen voorzien van veiligheidsinformatie over het gebruik van de SVHC. Naast de communicatieverantwoordelijkheid moeten EU-artikelproducenten en -importeurs ECHA op de hoogte stellen als de totale hoeveelheid SVHC in artikelen groter is dan 1 ton per jaar. Bovendien moeten fabrikanten opletten voor het groeiende aantal SVHC-stoffen op de Annex XIV-lijst voor autorisatie. Fabrikanten zonder autorisatie voor het gebruik van een specifieke stof moeten de laatste aanvraag- en vervaldatums zorgvuldig volgen om te voldoen aan de REACH-vereisten voor toegestaan gebruik van Zeer Zorgwekkende Stoffen (ZZS).<\/p>\n<p>Als je een EU-leverancier bent van mengsels voor consumenten, moet je mogelijk een Veiligheidsinformatieblad verstrekken als het mengsel een SVHC \u2265 0,1% w\/w bevat, op verzoek van downstreamgebruikers of distributeurs. Deze verplichting komt boven op de verplichtingen volgens de Richtlijn gevaarlijke preparaten (EC) 1999\/45C en de CLP-verordening (EC) 1272\/2008.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69e8907835d43{font-size:20px;font-weight:600;}<\/style><h2 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69e8907835d43\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">Voldoen aan meldingsverplichtingen<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]Om te voldoen aan de meldingsverplichtingen onder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomatters.nl\/nl\/services\/wetgeving\/reach\/\">REACH<\/a> en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomatters.nl\/nl\/services\/wetgeving\/kaderrichtlijn-afvalstoffen\/scip-database\/\">SCIP<\/a> kunnen we je ondersteunen bij de volgende stappen:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Beoordelen van je producten<\/li>\n<li>Implementeren van een systeem voor het identificeren en volgen van SVHC-stoffen in je artikelen<\/li>\n<li>Informatie verzamelen (bijv. Voorbeelden van artikelen zijn kunststof verpakkingen of kleding.<\/p>\n<p>Er zijn ook complexe objecten die kunnen bestaan uit verschillende afzonderlijke artikelen. Dit kan zo complex zijn als een e-bike die bestaat uit honderden verschillende artikelen (frame, batterij, elektronica, banden, enz.). De SCIP-communicatieverplichtingen met betrekking tot SVHC-stoffen in artikelen zijn ook van toepassing op elk artikel dat is opgenomen in een complex
