Ecomatters kan hierbij ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<p>De EU-afvalrichtlijn (WFD) definieert afval als \u2018elke stof of object waarvan de houder zich ontdoet, voorneemt zich te ontdoen, of verplicht is zich te ontdoen\u2019. Als onderdeel van deze richtlijn heeft de Europese Commissie de Einde-afvalcriteria (EoW) opgesteld om te bepalen wanneer afval is omgevormd tot een veilig (tussen)product of secundaire grondstof. Door te voldoen aan de EoW-criteria kan het gerecyclede product de EoW-status verkrijgen.
