Vage of misleidende claims kunnen echter het vertrouwen van consumenten schaden en leiden tot inspectie van toezichthouders. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acm.nl\/nl\">De Autoriteit Consument &amp; Markt (ACM)<\/a> heeft duidelijke richtlijnen opgesteld om te zorgen dat duurzaamheidsclaims transparant, nauwkeurig en controleerbaar zijn.  <\/p>\n<p>Door toenemende controle van toezichthouders en een groeiend bewustzijn onder consumenten, moeten bedrijven hun duurzaamheidsclaims onderbouwen om beschuldigingen van greenwashing te voorkomen. De vijf vuistregels van de ACM bieden een gestructureerde aanpak voor het maken van eerlijke en geloofwaardige claims, ervoor zorgend dat de Nederlandse en EU-wetgeving voor consumentenbescherming worden nageleefd.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:30px;\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69eb2ac2b3796{font-weight:700;}<\/style><h2 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69eb2ac2b3796\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">Wat houden de ACM-richtlijnen voor duurzaamheidsclaims in?<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]De ACM-richtlijnen voor duurzaamheidsclaims zijn bedoeld om misleidende groene marketing te voorkomen en bedrijven te helpen voldoen aan de consumentenbeschermingswetgeving. De richtlijnen zijn in 2023 geactualiseerd om aan te sluiten bij de huidige verwachtingen met betrekking tot duurzaamheid en de veranderende regelgeving. <\/p>\n<p>Bedrijven moeten vijf hoofdregels volgen als ze duurzaamheidsclaims maken:[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:20px;\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69eb2ac2b43e0{font-size:20px;font-weight:700;}<\/style><h3 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69eb2ac2b43e0\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">1. Gebruik juiste, duidelijke, specifieke en volledige claims<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:15px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\n<ul>\n<li>Vermijd algemene, absolute termen (zoals <em>groen<\/em>, <em>duurzaam, klimaatneutraal of milieuvriendelijk<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Zorg dat de gebruikte taal eenvoudig en precies is, zodat consumenten het begrijpen.<\/li>\n<li>Overdrijf niet: claims moeten echte duurzaamheidsvoordelen laten zien.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Voorbeeld:<br \/>\n<em>Vermijd: \u201cOnze verpakking is duurzaam.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Kies voor: \u201cOnze verpakking bestaat voor 70% uit gerecycled materiaal.\u201d<\/em>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:20px;\"><\/div><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69eb2ac2b55a1{font-size:20px;font-weight:700;}<\/style><h3 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69eb2ac2b55a1\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">2. Maak eerlijke vergelijkingen met andere producten of concurrenten<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:15px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\n<ul>\n<li>Vergelijkingen moeten betekenisvol zijn en gebaseerd op soortgelijke producten.<\/li>\n<li>Gebruik standaard meeteenheden (zoals percentages) voor de duidelijkheid.Ensure calculation methods are consistent and unbiased.<\/li>\n<li>Zorg dat de rekenmethoden consistent en objectief zijn.<\/li>\n<li>Vergelijk alleen aspecten die relevant zijn voor de totale milieuprestatie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Voorbeeld:<br \/>\n<em>Vermijd:<\/em> <em>\u201cOnze schoenen hebben de laagste milieu-impact.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Kies voor:<\/em> <em>\u201cUit een LCA-studie blijkt dat onze schoenen 5 liter minder water gebruiken bij de productie dan traditionele leren schoenen.\u201d<\/em>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:30px;\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69eb2ac2b7bb9{font-size:20px;font-weight:700;}<\/style><h3 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69eb2ac2b7bb9\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">4. Beschrijf toekomstige duurzaamheidsambities in meetbare termen<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:15px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\n<ul>\n<li>Toekomstige doelen moeten<strong> realistisch, specifiek en meetbaar zijn<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Bedrijven moeten <strong>duidelijke actieplannen<\/strong> bieden die voortgang tonen.<\/li>\n<li>Vermijd vage beloften zoals <em>\u201cWe zijn op weg naar klimaatneutraliteit.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Voorbeeld:<br \/>\n<em>Vermijd: \u201cIn 2030 zijn we klimaatneutraal.\u201d<br \/>\nKies voor: \u201cIn 2030 willen we onze CO\u2082-uitstoot met 50% verlaagd hebben ten opzichte van 2020, door energiebesparing en investeringen in hernieuwbare energie.\u201d<\/em>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:30px;\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69eb2ac2b90ab{font-size:20px;font-weight:700;}<\/style><h3 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69eb2ac2b90ab\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">5.
