Het belangrijkste doel van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tfs-initiative.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Together for Sustainability<\/a> is om duurzaamheidsbeoordelingen van leveranciers binnen de industrie te harmoniseren en te stroomlijnen, zodat de ontwikkelde PCF&#8217;s kunnen worden ge\u00efntegreerd in Scope 3 categorie 1 (gekochte goederen en diensten) emissies.<\/p>\n<p>Om dit doel te bereiken, is er in 2022 een richtlijn voor Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) gepubliceerd. Door de TfS PCF-richtlijn toe te passen, kunnen TfS-leden en hun leveranciers de integratie en afstemming van de productkoolstofvoetafdrukken van hun producten verbeteren.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69f383776eeb2{font-weight:700;}<\/style><h2 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69f383776eeb2\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">Doel en reikwijdte van de Together for Sustainability PCF-richtlijnen<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]De reikwijdte van de PCF-richtlijn omvat een benadering om de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomatters.nl\/nl\/services\/lca-epd\/levenscyclusanalyse-lca\/berekening-co2-voetafdruk\/\">koolstofvoetafdruk <\/a>van een product te berekenen, dit is de optelling van alle emissies en aftrek van koolstof die optreden in het productiesysteem. Deze berekeningen worden uitgevoerd binnen de systeemgrenzen van wieg-tot-poort, en de resultaten worden uitgedrukt in kg CO2-equivalenten per functionele eenheid. De Together for Sustainability PCF-richtlijn voldoet volledig aan het <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomatters.nl\/nl\/services\/duurzaamheidsrapportage\/rapportage-standaarden\/greenhouse-gas-ghg-protocol\/\">Greenhouse Gas Protocol<\/a> en is ook gebaseerd op de normen voor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomatters.nl\/nl\/services\/lca-epd\/levenscyclusanalyse-lca\/\">levenscyclusanalyse<\/a> (ISO 14040\/14044) en koolstofvoetafdrukken (ISO 14067). Echter, de productkoolstofvoetafdruk omvat alleen impactcategorie\u00ebn die verband houden met klimaatverandering, in tegenstelling tot levenscyclusanalyses waarin ook een aantal andere impactcategorie\u00ebn worden beoordeeld.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69f383776fedd{font-size:20px;font-weight:700;}<\/style><h3 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69f383776fedd\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">Systeemgrenzen en rekenmethoden<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]De reikwijdte van de Together for Sustainability PCF omvat een beoordeling van wieg-tot-poort (cradle-to-gate). Dit betekent dat alle upstream-activiteiten (tot aan de laatste fabriekspoort) moeten worden opgenomen in de scope, inclusief de winning en verwerking van grondstoffen, energieopwekking en -verbruik, inkomend en intern transport, en de behandeling van afval dat tijdens de productie wordt gegenereerd. Alle downstream-activiteiten (na de laatste fabriekspoort), zoals het transport naar de klant\/gebruiker, de gebruiksfase en de levenscyclusfase van het product, worden niet meegenomen in de berekeningen.<\/p>\n<p>Voor alle processen die binnen de systeemgrenzen plaatsvinden, moeten de bijbehorende broeikasgasemissies worden berekend. Dit gebeurt door procesgegevens te vermenigvuldigen met de relevante emissiefactoren. In de chemische industrie omvatten deze processen niet alleen de invoer van materialen, maar ook chemische reacties en concentratie-, verdunnings- of zuiveringsstappen. Om de impact van al deze processen correct te berekenen, kunnen aanvullende stappen nodig zijn, zoals de toewijzing (ook bekend als allocatie) van de invoer en uitvoer van multi-outputprocessen. Hoewel de TfS PCF-richtlijnen gebaseerd zijn op andere normen, worden er aanvullende richtlijnen en verduidelijkingen toegevoegd op basis van scenario&#8217;s en voorbeelden die specifiek zijn voor de chemische industrie.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_69f3837770e2c{font-size:20px;font-weight:700;}<\/style><h3 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl vcex_69f3837770e2c\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">Verificatie en rapportage<\/span><\/h3><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]Alle productkoolstofvoetafdrukken die ontwikkeld worden onder Together for Sustainability moeten geverifieerd worden. De verificatie kan worden uitgevoerd door een onafhankelijke derde partij of door een interne LCA-expert. In de richtlijn wordt een korte checklist gegeven die zowel de LCA-deskundige tijdens de ontwikkeling als de expert die de studie verifieert kan ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<p>De TfS-richtlijn geeft ook een overzicht van welke gegevens verplicht zijn bij het communiceren van de resultaten naar leveranciers. Verplichte items om te rapporteren zijn onder andere de PCF, exclusief biogene verwijdering en emissies, de toegepaste allocatiemethoden en de bronnen van secundaire gegevens die zijn gebruikt. Vanaf 2025 wordt de lijst met verplichte gegevenspunten die gecommuniceerd moeten worden uitgebreid met de PCF inclusief biogene verwijderingen en emissies. Bovendien moeten de emissies worden onderverdeeld in verschillende categorie\u00ebn, zoals fossiele CO2-emissies, biogene CO2-opname en verwijderingen, CO2-emissies gerelateerd aan landgebruik en CO2-emissies van vliegtuigen.
