Het berekenen en verslagleggen van deze zogenoemde scope 3-emissies, geeft inzicht in de milieu-impact van de waardeketen. Daarvoor kwantificeer je zowel upstream- en downstreamemissies. Dit kan vervolgens gebruikt worden als uitgangspunt voor het stellen van reductiedoelen en nemen van bijbehorende investeringsbeslissingen.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Hier leggen we uit hoe je Scope 3-emissies berekent met behulp van het <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecomatters.nl\/nl\/services\/duurzaamheidsrapportage\/berekeningen-voor-scope-1-2-en-3\/greenhouse-gas-ghg-protocol\/\">GHG Protocol<\/a>.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:25px;\"><\/div><div class=\"vcex-callout vcex-module wpex-boxed\"><div class=\"vcex-callout-caption wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-text-md\"><p>De broeikasgasemissies van een bedrijf worden ingedeeld in drie scopes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong data-start=\"1660\" data-end=\"1672\">Scope 1:<\/strong> Directe emissies uit bronnen die je bezit of controleert, zoals brandstof die wordt verbrand in ketels, voertuigen of apparatuur.<\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"1728\" data-end=\"1740\">Scope 2:<\/strong> Indirecte emissies die ontstaan bij de opwekking van ingekochte elektriciteit, stoom, warmte of koeling.<\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"1787\" data-end=\"1799\">Scope 3:<\/strong> Alle overige indirecte emissies die plaatsvinden in je waardeketen, zowel upstream als downstream.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><style>.vcex-heading.vcex_6a541e3750001{font-weight:700;}<\/style><h2 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-bottom-border vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl wpex-border-b wpex-border-solid wpex-border-main vcex_6a541e3750001\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">Wat is Scope 3?<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"vcex-spacing wpex-w-100 wpex-clear\" style=\"height:10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Scope 3 omvat activiteiten zoals ingekochte goederen en diensten, transport en distributie, productgebruik, afvalverwerking en woon-werkverkeer van werknemers. In totaal zijn er 15 onderling uitsluitende categorie\u00ebn van Scope 3-emissies (zie onderstaande figuur).
