Maria Papavasileiou

Maria is a sustainability consultant specialising in life cycle thinking and circular economy. She has experience in conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies and working with reporting standards across various industries, including chemicals, construction materials and electronics. She has worked on EU-funded projects, including Horizon 2020 research projects and the assessment of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) requirements for various appliances. Additionally, she is involved in developing Health Product Declarations (HPDs) for chemical products.

Maria joined Ecomatters in November 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of the Aegean and a master’s degree in Industrial Ecology from Delft University of Technology and Leiden University.
