Mieke de Jager

Mieke joined Ecomatters in November 2021 as a sustainability consultant. She has expertise in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), development of EPDs and corporate sustainability reporting, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 calculations, for a range of clients in the chemical, metal and energy sector. In addition, Mieke has experience with several sustainability standards (e.g. GHG protocol) and the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Mieke is also involved in EU-funded projects on the assessment of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) requirements for several appliances.

Before joining Ecomatters, Mieke worked for 10 years in medical and drug discovery research. To focus her career on sustainability topics, she obtained a Master in Environment and Research Management at the VU in Amsterdam in 2021 before she started at Ecomatters.
