Custom, flexible support
AkzoNobel is committed to creating value from fewer resources and as such adopted the Planet Possible approach to sustainability. The organisation works with customers and suppliers to open up infinite possibilities in a finite world. The driving force behind the Planet Possible approach, AkzoNobel Sustainability manages the sustainability concepts and methodologies, cooperates with the businesses to enable them to achieve their sustainability targets.
Over the years, Ecomatters has carried out projects for the business areas Decorative Paints, Performance Coatings and Specialty Chemicals, and has cooperated with several business functions, including production, purchase, HSE, R&D, marketing and sales. Covering the full sustainability spectrum, the projects have focused on People, Planet and Profit, and where possible integrated the three. Additionally, we have supported the sustainability discussion at EU trade association level.
